Origin of Fate

This book is written by the great teacher Sodargye Rinpoche, and it was the book that my teacher asked me to read when I first learned about Buddhism. The establishment of the WHENTEA brand also began at that time. It can be said that the establishment of WHENTEA cannot be separated from the compassionate blessings of the Three Jewels.

WHENTEA brand was established in the mid-2016, with a passion for simple tea life, we set up the first online tea shop. We found that the style we thought was only appreciated by ourselves could actually be loved by many people. With a steady pace, we have achieved many solid goals.

"WHENTEA went online in June, attended the Xiamen Tea Expo in October, and became the top seller in the online store in November." we are very grateful for this luck.

緣起

這本書是大恩上師索達吉堪布寫的書,也是我第一次認識佛法的時候,師父要我看的書。而聞說這個品牌也是從那個時候開始的,可以說聞說的建立,離不開上師三寶的慈悲加持。聞說品牌是在2016年中旬成立的,憑著對簡約茶生活的熱愛,我們設立了第一家線上茶舖。發現自認為只能是孤芳自賞的風格,竟然可以獲得許多人的喜愛。不緊不慢的步調,實現了好多踏實的目標。

「六月聞說上線,十月份廈門茶博會,十一月份的線上商店皇冠賣家。」十分感恩這份幸運。

What are you busy with?

"Repeating simple tasks, attracting like-minded people, persisting, and not being blinded by external changes—these were the purest ideas behind the inception of WHENTEA."

When it comes to new things, WHENTEA always seems to be the last to start and only begins when it's absolutely necessary. We often find ourselves busy with things that don't necessarily benefit the business, yet we have never relaxed our aesthetic standards or self-expectations. It seems difficult for us to be guided by the market to blindly follow certain trends.

Over the years, WHENTEA has tried its best to serve each friend well, which may be the only thing that truly satisfies us.

忙什么

「重複做簡單的事情,吸引志同道合之人,繼續堅持,不被外界變化所蒙蔽初心。”

這句話是聞說開始最純粹的想法。對於新事物,聞說總是最後一個做,也總是在不得不做的時候才開始。我們總是忙著一些對商業沒有很大幫助的事,當然在審美和自我要求上從來沒有放鬆過,我們好像很難被市場引導做一些可以盲從的事。幾年來聞說盡力把每位朋友服務好,可能是我們唯一令我們滿意的事。

The first tea house

In 2020, amidst the inconveniences brought by the pandemic, we opened the first offline tea house for WHENTEA. Our initial intention was for friends visiting the tea house to experience true mental relaxation, so we chose a location near the mountains and overcame many difficulties. Despite being exhausted by some complex matters, we were all pleased with the final result. Of course, this is far from the end; it is just the beginning.

What we truly hope for is to connect with more people who have a karmic affinity with Buddhism and continue to progress with like-minded individuals on the path of benefiting oneself and others. Inside the space, there are some books by virtuous teachers. If friends with affinity are interested, they are welcome to treat them with respect.

 

第一家茶館

2020年在疫情來臨的各種不便情況下,我們開設了WHENTEA的第一家線下茶館。我們的初心是希望來訪茶館的朋友都能得到一種心靈的真正放鬆,所以我們將茶館開在靠山的地方,並克服了許多不便。也因為一些複雜的事情弄得筋疲力盡,但最終結果我們都很欣慰。當然這遠不是結束,只是剛剛開始。


其實我們更希望的是能與更多有佛緣的人結緣,和志同道合的人在自利利他的路上繼續前行。空間內提供了一些具德上師的書籍,如果有緣的朋友可以請回用心對待。

 

What have you practiced?

"Originally, I thought I was someone without the mind of bodhicitta. The greatest gain I have had in these years at the academy is bodhicitta," said the master.

I have known the master for many years, but I still think I haven't practiced much, let alone mention bodhicitta. Whether the phrase "benefiting oneself and others" is just another form of egoism or something that can truly be achieved is hard to say. Regardless of whether it is the practice of accumulation, daily recitation and contemplation, or mantra recitation, it all revolves around supplicating to the guru, the Three Jewels. It is important to know who is practicing, what is being practiced.

The master often expresses gratitude for the kindness of the academy's gurus, and for the blessings of the Karmapa, Sogyal Rinpoche, and other gurus for the disciples in the Han region. It is difficult to imagine that in the Dharma-ending age, so many precious teachings have been translated into Chinese, coupled with the various kindnesses shown to the disciples in the Han region by the academy. I believe many who understand this will resonate strongly.

 

修行了什么

「原來我認為我是一個沒有菩提心的人,這些年在學院最大的收獲就是菩提心。」師父如是說。

與師父認識已經很多年了,但是我也仍然認為自己並沒有修什麼,菩提心更是不敢提。自利利他這句話究竟是以一個我執再修一個我執還是真的能做到,都不好說。無論是修加行還是日常聞思或者持咒,都離不開祈禱上師三寶,究竟是誰在修,在修什麼,這個很重要。

師父常常感恩學院上師的恩德,感恩法王晉美彭措,索達吉堪布等上師對漢地弟子的加持。很難想象末法時期,有這麼多珍貴的法被翻譯成漢語,加上學院很多對漢地弟子的種種恩德。相信很多清楚其中的人會有強烈的共鳴。

 What do you want to do in the future?

Remove unrealistic fantasies, and we have an expectation for the future. We hope to follow in the footsteps of our master, establish a dojo, spread the true Dharma to more people, and allow some friends who work at home, including ourselves, to stop and examine their state amidst their busyness, observe themselves from the busyness, and find the true meaning of life.

Of course, the most important thing is our own cultivation. Do not abandon your own path, do not disturb others' minds, maintain your own state, and do well in what is before you. Master Fayuipu once said, "I will be with you in another form." On the path of cultivation, we are not alone.

未來想做什麼

除去不切實際的妄想,我們對未來有一個期許。我們希望跟隨師父的腳步,建立道場,將真正的佛法傳播給更多的人,讓一些在家的朋友包括我們自己工作之餘能停下來審視一下自己的狀態,從忙什麼中觀察自己,找到人生真正的意義。

當然最緊要的還是我們自己的修行,勿捨己道,勿擾他心,保持好自己的狀態做好眼前的事。法王如意寶曾說過,我會以另外一種形式和你們在一起。修行路上,我們並不孤單。
